ESTEVE COLLECTS MORE THAN 7 TONS OF FOOD WITH THE CAMPAIGN EAT THE HUNGER

In total we have collected 7,699 kilos of food between the workers and the company, which have been delivered to food banks and charities to make them reach, from there, to families who need it most.

This year, the final result campaign 'Eat hunger' of ESTEVE was 7,699 kilos of food, that the various food banks and charities will reach those most in need. Half of these 7 tons has been donated directly by workers, while the other half corresponds to the contribution made by the company itself. This is the fifth year that employees of ESTEVE, both Spain and Mexico, China, Turkey, Italy and Portugal, are collaborating on this solidarity initiative.

From the spaces that ESTEVE has enabled in different locations in Spain and its international subsidiaries, workers have collaborated on the campaign 'Eat hunger' through donations of staple foods or through financial contributions. The final amount has doubled with a contribution charge of ESTEVE.

In total we have collected 7,699 kilos of basic non-perishable foods, such as rice, pasta, legumes, milk and oil that have been delivered to various social organizations, such as food banks and other charities where ESTEVE is present and the campaign has been conducted. From there, are to be sent to those families who need it most. Thus, ESTEVE wants to contribute to alleviate the situation of social exclusion and poverty in which are found many people as a result of the current economic crisis.

It should be noted that this year, in addition, a total of 61 ESTEVE volunteers also participated in the 'great Recapte' campaign promoted by the Food Bank.
