ESTEVE’S COLLABORATION WITH FARMAMUNDI AND SEFAP WINS AWARDS GRANTED BY CORREO FARMACÉUTICO
Both projects have been recognized as two of the Best Pharmacy Initiatives of the Year, during the award ceremony in the Teatros del Canal in Madrid.
This year ESTEVE has been awarded twice in the Correo Farmacéutco Awards. The projects promoted from collaborations with Farmamundi and the Spanish Society of Primary Care Pharmacists (SEFAP) respectively, have been selected as Best Pharmacy Initiatives 2012. The prize was awarded at the Teatros del Canal in Madrid.
The collaboration agreement between Farmamundi and ESTEVE ―ongoing since 2005― bolsters humanitarian assistance in emergency situations among the world's most vulnerable populations. That is why Correo Farmacéutico has decided to recognize this collaboration as one of the Best Pharmacy Initiatives of the Year 2012 in the Category of Solidarity Projects and Patronage.

In 2013, ESTEVE and Farmamundi have expanded and strengthened their collaboration for resource optimization purposes. The pharmaceutical company has made a meaningful financial contribution and has concentrated all medicine donations on this NGO and the FAHE, which will manage them directly or through collaborating institutions.
Meanwhile, in the category of pharmaceutical care and health education, the collaboration between ESTEVE and SEFAP has been awarded by the publication of "Basic elements of the medication approach to the chronic patient: Patient information, reconciliation, review and medicine adherence". That is, an instruction book which addresses four key areas for safe management of medication: the interview, the reconciliation, the review of treatment and the medicine adherence.
