The latest technology to run cryogenic reactions.

Our reactors are prepared to reach cryogenic temperatures to allow the performance of very exothermic reactions like the use of organometallic reagents.

The Barcelona Pilot Plant and Celrà and Banyeres del Penedès Manufacturing sites have the latest technology to run cryogenic reactions by using a system based on liquid nitrogen / thermal fluid exchange. The equipment has been designed and manufactured by Lauda and can operate down to -90ºC.

Currently available at the pilot plant/manufacturing sites are 5 Hastelloy reactors (one of 400 L, one of 1200 l, two of 4000 l and one of 6000 l/each) and 1 SST reactor (6000 l), thus allowing to optimally meet our customers' needs.
