The first award goes to an optimized formulation of omeprazole, a stomach protector developed by Esteve's generics subsidiary PENSA at its innovation and pharmaceutical production center in Martorelles (Barcelona). This landmark is the fruit of constant innovation and has positioned ESTEVE as a reference company in the field of stomach protection technology, know-how and innovation.

The second award goes to ESTEVE's collaboration with the College of Pharmacists of Andalusia to implement the MAPAfarma project, aimed at providing pharmacies with a new Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring service where readings are obtained every 20 or 30 minutes for periods of 24 or 48 hours to help better manage hypertension -a disease affecting 14 Million Spaniards.
