In accordance with health regulations and data protection regulations, the data provided will be processed for the purpose of analyzing, forwarding and notifying the health authorities the information containing suspicions of adverse reactions that you have reported to us, as well as to monitor the notification. The legal basis for the processing of your data is our legal obligation to carry out the processing in accordance with the pharmacovigilance legislation (art. 6.1.c GDPR) related to the limitation of the prohibition on the processing of health data for reasons of public interest in the area of public health, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety of medicinal products or medical devices (art. 9.2.i. GDPR). We will retain your data for a period of ten (10) years after the expiration of the worldwide marketing authorization of the drug.

The data you provide to us may be communicated to other companies of the Esteve group (you can consult the companies in our group here: www.esteve.com/global/legal-notice ), that support us in the services we provide to you, as well as to companies with which marketing licensing agreements are maintained and to third parties to comply with legal obligations. The data may also be disclosed to specialized providers, who help us to provide our services and are considered data processors. Some of these processors may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), in which case we will adopt appropriate safeguards to ensure the security of the international transfer of personal data.

The data will be processed with the necessary degree of protection, adopting appropriate technical and organizational measures to avoid their alteration, accidental loss, unauthorized disclosure or access, and any other improper form of processing. When applying such measures, we take into account, among other aspects, the nature of the data processed, the risks, as well as the advances in technology and the costs of their implementation. We update and maintain our databases to ensure that your data is always correct and accurate.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation of processing, data portability, opposition and the right not to be subject to automated individual decisions with regard to your data. To exercise these rights you may send a written request to Esteve Pharmaceuticals, S.A. (Att.
