ESTEVE’S ARC ON EPILEPSY, AWARDED BEST TEACHING ACTIVITY OF 2014

The Teaching Awards granted yearly by the Spanish Society of Neurology (SEN) went to ARC on Epilepsy in the scope of Best Teaching Activity of 2014. This meeting, fostered and organized by ESTEVE, has become a benchmark in its field.

The purpose of ARC on Epilepsy is to make neurologists who treat epilepsy patients on a daily basis aware of the most relevant novelties presented at the most important congresses held around the world during the previous year.

The high levels of satisfaction expressed in surveys conducted on attendants to the last edition of ARC on Epilepsy have awarded this course the SEN's Best Teaching Initiative of the year 2014. Specifically, the award has been granted to ESTEVE and to the two scientific directors entrusted with topic selection: Dr. Juan Mercadé, from the Carlos Haya Regional University Hospital of Málaga; and Dr. Jerónimo Sancho, from the University General Hospital Consortium of Valencia.

The organization of ARC on Epilepsy reflects ESTEVE's commitment to offer quality training and services that really help health professionals -in this case, neurologists- in their daily practice.

The SEN Awards represent the acknowledgement of this scientific entity and of Spanish neurologists to the tasks of associations, investigators and individuals that contribute decisively to the development of research or social promotion of neurological diseases. The Awards Ceremony was held on May 7th in an Institutional Event conducted at the University of Lleida, made to coincide with the II National Conference of Neurology and attended by more than 200 national and foreign experts.
