Doctor in Pharmacy by the University of Barcelona (Spain) and PDD from IESE (Barcelona, Spain), he has carried out an Extensive Business activity in ESTEVE, from which he was President from 2005 to 2012. He is currently President of Esteve Teijin Healthcare and President and founder of AdSalutem Institute for Healthy Sleep.

Committed to research, he chairs the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation since 2011. He has chaired the Farmaindustria employers on two occasions (2006-2008 and 2014-2016).

He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Blood and Tissue Bank during the years 2003-2013 and of the Princess of Girona Foundation from 2009 to 2015.

He has combined his business career with extensive experience in the fields of training and the promotion of science, innovation and entrepreneurship. In the field of academia, Dr. Esteve is a full academic of the Royal Academy of Pharmacy of Catalonia, Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia and Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the State Research Agency and Chairs the Research Commission of the University of Barcelona (Spain).
