Joan holds a degree in Industrial Technical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Girona, Spain. He joined ESTEVE in 1997, starting his career at our industrial plant in Celrà, Spain, as a Production Technician, and later advancing to Production Manager. In 2005, he moved to our industrial plant in Jiutepec, Mexico, where he served as Plant Director for six years before being appointed General Manager.

In 2015, Joan relocated to China to serve as General Manager of our Shaoxing plant. In 2019, he returned to our headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, taking on the role of Global Operations Director and later becoming Senior Director of the CDMO business in Spain.

In 2025, he further advanced in his career and was appointed as Chief Industrial Operations Officer, becoming a member of the Executive Management.
